The 13th game of the World Cup will see West Indies take on Netherlands at the Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi. Both teams had lost their first games in the tournament and will look to quickly get onto the points-table.If one looks at the ICC rankings, there isn’t much doubt that West Indies is streets ahead of the Dutch side. Or rather, should be streets ahead. Unfortunately, the rankings are much deceptive. Netherlands is an Associate nation because of which the experience of playing the top sides is lacking. But they are a side on the ascent. And West Indies, as exhibited by their performance against South Africa, a team on a decent.
So, if one is still looking for an upset, Sri Lanka’s loss to Pakistan notwithstanding, this could just be the game to watch out for.
