ACC has selected umpire for up coming ACC T20 cricket tournaments 2011.As tournament is held on Nepal,ACC preferred Nepali umpires for this sessions.12 out of 14 umpires are from Nepal and others one are from Singapore and Thailand.
ACC level II accredited umpires are Buddhi Bahadur Pradhan, Durga Nath Subedi (Devendra), Binay Kumar Jha, Sanjay Gurung, Manohar Adhikari and Satyajit Sarkar and ACC level II non accredited umpires are Himal Raj Giri, Raman Siwakoti, Adip Pradhan, Ram Kailash Yadav, Sailendra Raj Nepal and Basudev Lal Karna .
Two umpires from other country are Sarika Siva Prasad of Singapore and Sanjay Sharda of Thailand.
Nepal are drawn in Group B with the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Hong Kong and Saudi Arabia while Malaysia, Oman, Afghanistan, Bhutan and Maldives are in Group A. Top three teams other than the Afghanistan will make it to the ICC World Twenty20 Qualifiers scheduled for March next year in the UAE.
